New for the 2024-2025 Academic Year

Situated on the banks of the River Thames next to the historic Village of Iffley, Court Place Gardens is a community of 71 new-build two- and three- bedroom homes, exclusively open for reservations by Oxford University post-graduate students. These new-build homes are ideal for couples, families, or two students sharing as friends. The site also contains the Grade II listed Mansion House, providing 13 newly refurbished post-graduate bedrooms and associated common facilities.
The homes at Court Place Gardens are surrounded by mature landscape, offering a tranquil and picturesque setting with good connectivity to Oxford City Centre. A riverside cycle path and nearby bus routes provide easy access to central Oxford. In addition, there is parking available on site.
Court Place Gardens has sustainability and comfort at its heart. Houses are designed to Passivhaus principles and are highly energy efficient, with an anticipated EPC rating of A. The development is fossil fuel free and all houses will be equipped with solar panels and air source heat pumps.
The accommodation is bright and airy, benefitting from expansive double-glazed windows and higher than standard ceilings. The houses have open-plan living areas, ample storage space and are fully furnished.
Local amenities including schools and GP services are within easy walking distance, ensuring convenience and the scheme’s suitability for families. The new community also benefits from a range of green spaces including landscaped courtyards, meadows and children’s play areas on site, as well as direct access to the managed woodland surrounding the site.
Students interested in Court Place Gardens can apply in the usual way via the Graduate Accommodation Office website, but will enter into a tenancy agreement directly with Homes for Students. Homes will be available from January 2025. Some properties may be available sooner but this cannot be guaranteed and will be confirmed closer to the time.
